Altius United Cricket Club

Altius United is based at the municipal stadium in Green Point and participates
in the Western Cape cricket league.

The Altius United First XI won the championship trophy in 2009, and in December a team of fourteen members traveled to Hong Kong to participate in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes.

Children and young adults between the ages of 12 and 21 participate at all levels of cricket at the club.

Altius acknowledges the generous support of Noble Energy in its sponsorship.

Award for Bananco Banana Distributors: Based at Cape Town Market, Bananco recently received Pick n Pay’s award for “Most Progressive Supplier of the Year” for fresh produce. Bananco was competing against approximately three hundred other Western Cape fresh produce suppliers.

Altius Cricket Team Wins Hong Kong Tournament Again: Following in the footsteps of the Altius team that won the 2009 Hong Kong Cricket Sixes Tournament, Altius sent a team of Under 16’s to play in the 2010 tournament. In a thrilling final, Altius beat an Indian team by 2 runs.
